Bacon Lettuce and Tomato Salad
Ingredients:

mayonnaise

1 tbsp
lemon juice

284 g prepared Italian salad greens
1 bag
1/2 cup
thinly sliced red onion
125 mL
1/2 cup
torn fresh basil leaves (optional)

65 g Schneiders Fully Cooked Bacon, coarsely chopped
1 pkg
2 cups
coarsely chopped tomato or halved cherry tomatoes
500 mL

seasoned croutons
250 mL
Directions
Mix together mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic, salt and pepper; set aside. In a large bowl combine greens, basil, red onion, bacon, tomatoes and croutons; add dressing and toss. Serves 4 as a main course or 8 as a side salad.
VARIATION: Substitute prepared red wine vinaigrette or Caesar dressing for vinegar, oil, salt, pepper and garlic.
